11/24-- ok havent been here in awhile. Plus im not in Bridgeport now since 2016. So i went on yesterday wanted to get out my town n wanted some good décent food. I normaly cook my food. So they back in truck now. I think I remember the last time I had their Oxtails they were real Spice too. So boom, I got Oxtails, Rice n peas, Mac n cheese... not remembering the last time. Man that should have been jerk chicken or something bc it was soooooo hot n Spicey like amost couldn't enjoy it. Please dont make the Oxtails that Spicy its not jerk chicken. Someone must have switched seasonings by mistake. Whew!!!! Customer service was good though. I gave 1 star n its not updating. Wasn't happy with the meal.
I haven't been here in years so maybe the cook is different . I see a lot of bad reviews up here! But I used to go here every single day on my way to work. The lunch menu was only $7 !! Sooo good. On Fridays they served seafood out of the bag, I'd always get the spicy one for $40. I wonder why so many bad reviews , maybe they have a new cook or something. I have to go there to see what this about ....

This place is fabulous. They cook the best food you won’t go wrong and their proportions are excellent. You will not be disappointed, but you better go early cause they run out of food by 4 o’clock in the afternoon so you better go early and that’s any day.

It is NOT closed (Jan 2025), it is now operating from the Awesome Sauce Food Truck just a couple of paces away from the old location. (If you’d been following their Instagram page, you’d have known that 😊) Go half a block, then take a left and you’ll spot the black food truck on Seeley Street (just off State Street, between State St and Fairfield Avenue) Food is as delicious as ever, Seafood Fridays as top tier as ever! They take cash or tap, but … cash is Always king, if you ask me 😉
I love love love the pasta! The best pasta in the world! Y’all don’t hear me THE BEST PASTA IN THE WORLD‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I love their customer service the owner stay is a sweet heart she always a greet you so nice and the service is the best! They have oxtail patty that is good too! Every Fridays is seafood Friday and they have stiff shrimp and lobster I love that with the rice and peas and Rasta pasta. Very good eats the best in the world!
